SAFARI AU PARC NATIONAL DZANGHA SANGHA
Safari at Dzanga Sangha National Park
10 days/ 9 nights
The Dzanga-Sangha Protected Areas (APDS) are internationally known for the beauty of their rainforest and the remarkable animal diversity they contain. Western lowland gorillas, forest elephants, bongos, buffaloes as well as a multitude of bird
species are for example easily observable. The local culture is very rich, in particular through the centuries-old traditions perpetuated by the Sangha-Sangha fishing groups and the pygmy hunter-gatherers Ba'aka. In parallel with the efforts made in terms of biodiversity conservation and support for the development of local communities, the Protected Areas actively promote ecotourism and scientific research. A wide range of tourist activities and a quality lodge, with a breathtaking
view of the Sangha, are offered to you. Sharing its borders with Cameroon and the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), the Dzanga-
Sangha Protected Areas are an integral part of the Sangha Tri-National, one of the most important cross-border conservation sites in the Congo Basin. This set formed by three contiguous National Parks (Nouabalé-Ndoki in Congo, Lobéké in Cameroon and Dzanga-Ndoki in CAR) and their peripheral areas is indeed today engaged in the process of nomination as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. . Excursions to other National Parks can be organized from Dzanga-Sangha
