Arrival and welcome at Douala International Airport. Transfer to the IBIS Hôtel****, check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

DOUALA-NKONGSAMBA-MBOUROUKOU-REFUGE (Chez Alain le fromager)
Early wake-up call and breakfast. Early departure from Douala for Mbouroukou via Melong and Nkongsamba.Along the way you will see banana plantations, oil palms and the famous Penja pepper. Arrival continuation to visit the famous Ekom-Nkam waterfalls (one of the locations where part of the film TARZAN by Christophe Lambert was shot). After the visit to the waterfalls departure for Mbouroukou at Alain the cheesemaker's. Arrival and cold meal at the cheese shop.
Arrival and cold meal at the cheese dairy before climbing to the Mont Manengouba refuge (Guest House). Arrive at the refuge and settle in. Dinner and overnight stay.

REFUGE-Mount MANENGOUMBA-REFUGE
Wake up very early at around 7.30 am. After breakfast, departure for the Manengouba Mountains. The Manengouba massif (2400 m altitude) is home to Bororo villages, settled nomadic peoples who live off livestock. A magnificent plain where zebus and wild horses graze.
Climb to the summit on foot (you'll need to be a bit sporty) and enjoy a picnic on the edge of the mountain. It will take you around 6 hours to get there and back. Return to Alain le Fromager's refuge (Guest House). Dinner and overnight stay.

REFUGE-MBOUROUKOU- DSCHANG-FOUMBOT-KOUTABA (Cistercian monks)
Early wake-up after breakfast, return to Mbouroukou and departure for Koutaba via Dschang, Foumbot and Bafoussam. Arrive in Koutaba and continue to the monastery. Settle in and visit the coffee plantations and the Monastery shop. Dinner and overnight stay at Guest House.

KOUTABA- FOUMBAN-BAFOUSSAM--BANDJOUN-BATOUFAM-VILLA BOUTANGA
Early wake-up and breakfast and departure for Foumban. Arrival and visit to the Palace and the new Museum of the Sultanate of Foumban: seat of the Bamoun Sultanate, craft capital of the west, guardian of two museums and a palace, Foumban is one of the country's main tourist sites. Let your children guide you through the town, whose history dates back to the 17th century, to the Sultan's Palace, a unique and strange building. The Sultan's Museum houses thrones, trophies, weapons and statues that belonged to the ancestors of the current sultan.
The Museum of Bamoun Arts and Traditions, one of the country's finest in the country, contains a rich collection of objets d'art. Stroll along the artisans' street, where woodcarvers, foundrymen and blacksmiths work before your very eyes. After the visit to Bafoussam (Welcome to Bamiléké country, a densely populated region where society is organised into a multitude of chefferies, ancient religious and political kingdoms whose original architecture and spectacular dances with multicoloured masks and beads have given the whole country its best-known traditional image.
The Bandjoun chiefdom is the most beautiful and best preserved. 20 km from Bafoussam, this traditional town is lost in a cirque of greenery, with its bamboo and thatch huts built according to the traditional model. The Batouffam chiefdom and its museum could one day become as famous as that of Bandjoun. Continue to Bangoulap via Bangante, arriving and settling in. Dinner and overnight at Villa Boutanga Guest House.

Villa BOUTANGA-BANGANTE-YAOUNDE
Early wake-up, breakfast. Visit to the Jean GATCHA Foundation. Departure for Yaoundé, observation of the landscape, villages and meeting with the different populations along the way, arrival in Yaoundé. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner in a restaurant to discover Cameroonian gastronomy, return to the Merina hôtel **** and overnight.

YAOUNDE-SOMALOMO- PYGMY CAMP
Early wake-up call. Early departure for the Dja biodiversity reserve. Lunch on the way to Dja. Arrival at Somalomo and continuation to the pygmy camp in the Dja biodiversity reserve, accompanied by porters and an eco-guard. Arrival and settling in at the pygmy camp, presentation of gifts to the tribal chief and, at nightfall, dancing by the whole village around a large log fire. Dinner and overnight in tents at the pygmy camp.
Wake up early to the sounds of animals, birds, insects, etc. We have breakfast. Beginning of activities with the pygmies: hunting, fishing and wild honey gathering, forest fruit picking, traditional water drawing, raffia wine harvesting, traditional fire lighting, pygmy hut building, etc. Introduction to traditional medicine. At nightfall, the whole village dances around a large log fire. Dinner and overnight in tents at the pygmy camp.

PYGMY CAMP-SOMALOMO-YAOUNDE - EBOGO
Early wake-up; breakfast. Return to Yaoundé. Arrive in Yaoundé and continue to the Ebogo forest reserve eco-tourism site, past Mbalmayo. Arrival and check-in at the Guest house. Dinner and overnight on the banks of the Nyong rivers.

EBOGO FOREST RESERVE – MEFOU NATIONAL PARK-YAOUNDE
Wake up early at the Ebogo forest reserve to bird songs and animal cries (EBOGO's fabulous tourist site on the banks of the River Nyong: the majestic and tranquil Mbalmayo Forest Reserve, in the company of the Ebogo piroguers. Tens of thousands of species of birds and butterflies to observe. Remarkable sites such as the three-hundred-year-old Sappeli tree (12 m in circumference and 1,200 years old). The canoeists will tell you all about nature, culture and the work of man in magnificent landscapes.
They will show you the secrets of the rainforest and the river. Return to the banks of the River Nyong for breakfast with fresh fish. Hike and trek along the botanical trail. Return to the banks of the River Nyong and return to Yaoundé with a stop at the Mefou National Park, where you can observe the large primates - gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys. Continuation to Yaoundé. Arrival and check-in at the Merina hôtel ****. Dinner and overnight stay.
Early wake-up call, breakfast and departure for Kribi via Edéa. The arrival at Kribi is breathtaking; the ocean appears with its white sandy beaches stretching as far as the eye can see, bordered by rows of coconut palms. The Kribi coast is Cameroon's true riviera, a world in contact with the equatorial forest and the ocean. Londji, Cameroon's most beautiful beach, is a dream holiday destination. The Lobé Falls flow directly into the ocean in a series of cascades, a phenomenon that is unique in the world.
In a magical setting, the river tumbles down a thirty-metre-high cliff, widening the sky with its spray. A little further on, you can discover two typical fishing villages, Eboundja and Ebodjé, where the fishing is almost miraculous. Check-in at the ILOMBA hôtel****. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

KRIBI-CHUTES de la LOBE-KRIBI
Early wake-up, breakfast. A lazy day strolling along the beaches and discovering the famous Lobé Falls which flow directly into the sea, a unique event in the world. Possibility of eating lobster and freshly caught fish on the beach. Evening still at leisure. Return to the ILOMBA hôtel**** and overnight.

KRIBI-EDEA-DOUALA-EUROPE
Early wake-up call, breakfast. City tour and at the end of the day, return to Douala via Edéa. Arrival and city tour. Stop over at the flower market, where you'll visit the art dealers and do some shopping in the local produce shops, then head for the airport for departure formalities and your flight. End of your stay.
